Jill Thomas

Jill Thomas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in counseling adults, children, teens and families for over 20 years. Jill will help you find your inner strength and utilize your natural abilities to work through difficult issues.  Clients learn skills to define/address challenges and gain hope and confidence to improve their quality of life.

Jill specializes in treating adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, grief/loss, and anger management, Children/Teens with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, disruptive behavior, anger management, social skills training, effects of divorce and Parents/Families with improving communication skills, families who have children with disabilities, those who co-parent their children, and with helping blended families.

For people wanting to integrate their Christian faith, Jill utilizes faith-based guidance and counseling designed to assist you in integrating your Christian values and beliefs in the therapeutic process.

In addition to counseling, Jill teaches parent workshops on over 20 topics including Child Development, Understanding and Responding to Behavior, Social-Emotional Development, and Effective Communication. She has an extensive background in assisting families of children with special needs to navigate the special education process.  She provides Mental Health Consultation and Training to school administrators and teachers on Positive Intervention Supports to youth who are academically and behaviorally at-risk, and Trauma and its effects on children.
